Most jobs require only one, unless the colors are deep and clean, such as fire engine red or lemon yellow. I used the Dijion colour in the BEN, I always use 2 coats with aura, I used 2 with Ben as well, keeping in mind some of my project consisted of fresh drywall and mud. Lol, this joe dude is a joke. This makes Aura matte very attractive for use in a kitchen, particulalry ceilings. If you DON”T care about quality paint and high amount of volatile organic compounds polluting your home, then go right ahead and save yourself $20 a gallon. Although used mostly for commercial applications, it is actually suitable for residential work, and performs quite comparably to Regal. Yes, a lot of their money has come from starring on Greyâs Anatomy and from royalties that they earned from the show, but there is far more going on for these performers than just a single show. They stand behind and support the products they sell. It’s ridiculous. Aura is applied differently as others have stated above and it’s best to pay the $1 extra for the Aura applicator brush but I won’t paint with anything else. The wonderful employee at the store told me exactly how to use it (fast drying, cut edges first, etc) and I started off with a red in my dining room. BM paint is the new “Weatherbeater”. even one of the best “brushing” oils satin improv a really good product . I like to think the retailer would make anyone one aware of this. It is worth the extra step to always apply at least one coat of primer. Aura is the best paint on the market, hands down. It is by far the best paint I have ever used. Didn’t do a thing. I know that the only ones who have had a problem with it have been the “water adders” you can NOT add anything to Aura. ben Interior is the last and most inexpensive line of Ben Moore paint.
